When the doctor with a glove inserts a digit or two into the anal canal to do a prostate exam, they curl their fingers upward and massage the prostate which feels like a long mound starting small towards the mid part of the roof of the anal canal and gaining in width, the deeper you go, and towards the base of the penis internally.
