It is just as normal as a man giving a pelvic exam. The doctors are trained in what they are doing either way. If someone is uncomfortable with having a doctor of the opposite sex then that person should seek a different doctor. It will tend to make one a little uneasy to have someone of the opposite sex probing in such a private area. But it is entirely normal these days.

If she’s a medical professional, then why not? Men are gynecologists. I do wonder what their first motivation was for choosing that profession

No different than a male doctor giving a pap smear.

If a patient is male and needs a prostate exam as part of his standard exams and goes to a female doctor, she would be negligent if she failed to perform one. Period.

If a male patient is uncomfortable with having a female doctor’s finger up his rear, there are plenty of male doctors out there. They are still the majority in the medical field.

Yes this is normal. She went to the same school the male doctors did so if she is giving a physical to a man she would do a prostate exam the same as a male doc would. It is no different than a male doc doing pap smears and pelvic exams. They went to school to help people regardless of what sex they are.

Oh please ! ! ! . Men doctors have been giving women more personal exams for centuries. Why is it any different for a professionally trained female doctor to examine a man in a more personal way ? ! !
