Does having an enlarged prostate have anything to do with not being able to get and hold an erection?

Unfortunately, yes it does… You should decide the best treatment for yourself. There are a few websites around, just snoop around in Google. Hope your doctor/hospital will fix things up. Good Luck

They’re usually separate issues. An enlarged prostate will usually interfere with urination, which has nothing to do with an erection. Erection difficulties are usually caused by problems in the blood supply, like hardening of the arteries.
If you have a high glucose levels, I would assume you are diabetic.
Diabetes will affect/damage the nerves that go to the penis. Often times, a diabetic person will have erectile dysfunction because the nerves do not work anymore.
An enlarged prostate may have a little to do with, but I think the diabetes is the most common answer.
Has anyone told you that you have an enlarged prostate?
