Front, the rectum passes behind it, right?
When the doctor does a finger palpation of the prostrate gland, he or she inserts the finger into the rectum and presses toward the front of your body. So it is in front of the rectum which is most posterior.

The bladder sits under (posterior to) the intestines and in front of (ventral to) the rectum.
